The museum is a dedication to the history of British Air Force and aviation. The Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon houses over 100 aircrafts from around the world, some dating as far back as to 1918. In the museum we were able to explore some of the aircrafts, look into the materiality and the construction of them. Looking around the museum it is clear to see the change in aircraft design. Overtime they became larger and their uses have changed. As they were once used primarily during war, now aeroplanes are largley used for travel.
Here are a few photographs from the visit at the Royal Air Force museum.
